ZALORA Online Shopping Experience
I made my purchases on a Thursday and by Saturday, I was notified by 2Go (courier) that one of my items is ready to be delivered. They texted me asking if I was at home to receive the item, I confirmed. After waiting for hours, no one arrived. By late afternoon, I called their number and the delivery guy who answered said that they will just deliver the product on Monday. Apparently, there was a delay due to the many products they have to deliver to different areas.
It was rather disappointing. I had to cancel my plan to go out because I was expecting for the delivery. They asked if I was available to receive and after I confirmed, they never notified that they can’t deliver on that day. I wouldn’t have known it if I hadn’t called them that afternoon. Geeez!
But it’s okay, I have long moved on.
Something Borrowed Analog Boyfriend Watch in Rose Gold
On Monday, I finally received the first product – Analog Boyfriend Watch from Something Borrowed. I wasn’t able to use it right away since the watch was too big for my wrist. It was even bigger than my father’s watch. Haha
I sent it to a watch repair store to have it adjusted to my size.
Perfect! I love it! 🙂
Bijou Lace Up Espadrilles
After a few days, I received my second item – Bijou Lace Up Espadrilles. Honestly, the packaging looked pretty bad to me. The delivery guy said the box was damaged because of the many shipments that day. Oh no, another bad point for 2Go.
Well, I don’t think the number of shipments was really the problem. That’s kind of expected. I think the root cause was because the seller (the brand, not ZALORA) didn’t use any bubble wrap or extra packaging to protect the shoe box.
Though the shoes were obviously not handled well, they looked just fine to me.
It’s my first time to shop for shoes online, so I have a quick question: Do sellers really don’t use bubble wrap for the shoe box? Please let me know in the comments below. 🙂
Zalora Shopping Experience: Overall Rating
For me, my overall experience with ZALORA is satisfactory. I enjoyed browsing through the site and the placement of order was easy. Though I had issues with delivery and handling, the products I received were as good as the ones posted on their site. 🙂
Will I make another purchase in the future?
ADD: After reading some comments, I learned that ZALORA handles their packages very well, so I suggest that sellers (brands) should do the same. That is to at least avoid any damage to the items, especially to fragile ones. Also, to the courier, I suggest that they keep their lines open and try to always communicate any changes of delivery time to the customers to keep a positive transaction. 🙂
